Riyadh – Eng. Muhab Benten, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clusters Real Estate Development, visited Saudi Artisanal Company, where he met Ibrahim Al-Nasser, Chief Executive Officer, for a discussion focused on how Saudi identity and heritage can be translated into contemporary products and experiences. The meeting also included a presentation of Clusters’ projects and the development journey of JAX Clusters in Diriyah. Saudi Artisanal works to develop high-quality Saudi craft products while supporting artisans, local content, and the long-term sustainability of the craft sector.

During the visit, the Clusters team reviewed Saudi Artisanal’s approach to transforming elements of Saudi heritage into contemporary products with cultural value, while supporting artisans and advancing the quality and reach of Saudi craftsmanship.

Eng. Muhab Benten also presented the story of JAX Clusters, developed in Diriyah near JAX District, and the project’s approach to drawing from Diriyah’s architectural heritage and reinterpreting it through contemporary architecture, materials, interiors, and crafted details.

The two experiences share a clear point of connection. While Saudi Artisanal brings traditional craftsmanship into contemporary products, Clusters sought through JAX Clusters to make the identity of Diriyah an integral part of the real estate product itself, rather than simply a visual reference.

The meeting also explored the broader role of craftsmanship, design, materials, and local identity in creating products and experiences that remain connected to place while responding to contemporary needs.

The visit reflects Clusters’ interest in engaging with organizations working at the intersection of culture, design, and product development, and in exchanging perspectives on how heritage can continue to evolve through relevant and contemporary applications.
