Riyadh – Clusters Real Estate Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Watad, a Saudi technology platform specializing in construction material procurement and management, on the sidelines of Big 5 Construct Saudi.
The agreement aims to explore opportunities to enhance procurement and supply chain efficiency across Clusters’ developments by leveraging Watad’s digital capabilities in material requests, supplier access, quotation and price comparison, purchase order management, and delivery tracking.
The collaboration forms part of Clusters’ wider approach to integrating technology and data across the real estate development process. Beyond customer-facing technology, the company is increasingly focused on digital tools that can improve operational efficiency, procurement transparency, cost control, and project delivery.
Watad is developing an integrated platform that connects developers and contractors with construction material suppliers while providing tools to manage procurement and supply requirements throughout different stages of project execution.
Eng. Muhab Benten, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clusters Real Estate Development, said the collaboration reflects the company’s focus on building a more efficient development platform supported by specialist partners and technology, noting that procurement and supply chain management play an important role in execution quality, cost discipline, and project schedules.
The MoU brings together Clusters’ experience in real estate product development with Watad’s technology and construction procurement capabilities, creating a framework to explore solutions that can deliver a more efficient, transparent, and scalable procurement model across future Clusters projects.
